All Saints Gym Clothes Policy

Proper attire is needed for physical education class at All Saints. The proper attire will ONLY be purchased through the Handicapped Development Center webstore. Proper attire will help allow students to participate fully in the physical activities, help reduce the maintenance needed for the gym floor, and maintain the values of our Catholic school. Proper Attire for physical education includes: navy All Saints shorts, grey or baby blue All Saints t-shirt. During winter months, students will be able to purchase and wear All Saints sweatpants and crewneck sweatshirts as the physical education uniform.

Grades K-8

SHOES: All students must have non-scuff gym shoes that are clean and appropriate for gym use as needed for safety at school. Students who do not have appropriate shoes may not participate in gym.

Grades 4-8

Students in grades 4-8 must wear school gym uniforms on gym days. Students are strongly encouraged to wear their gym clothes all day on days when they have gym. Even if it falls on a Mass day.

Gym Shorts

Gym shorts must be purchased through the school-identified vendor. The student’s name should be written on the tag. No other shorts are allowed for P.E. Shorts must be kept at full length and waistbands unrolled.

Gym Shirts

Gym shirts must be purchased through the school-identified vendor. If students cannot raise their arms to their sides or above their heads without the top of their shorts still touching the bottom of their shirts, then the gym shirts are too small. If students’ shirts are as long as or longer than their gym shorts, the shirts are too big.
